    Chris Oyakhilome Background

    Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on the 7th of December 1973 in the home of Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. After his first and second education, he went to Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where was awarded a BSc. in Architecture.

    AAU also gave him an honourary Doctor of Science Award. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they are blessed with two children.

    Chris Oyakhilome Ministry

    While still enrolled at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome became involved in the ministry. At the time, the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

    YFC quickly grew and became the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church’s headquarters. The Believer’s LoveWorld is home to millions of associates and followers around the globe.

    Through the 2002 atmosphere for miracles programme, BLW rose to prominence as a Christian ministry on television in Africa. The program was cancelled in the month of May, 2004 by the President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who declared that the churches would cease broadcasting miracles on television.

    Pastor Chris’s Ministry includes four branches that include publishing ministry; the healing ministry, television ministry and the teaching ministry. From these areas, he has created the healing school, the atmosphere for miracles, as well as the Pastor Chris global prayer network.

    The InnerCity Mission For Children

    The InnerCity Mission for Children is a religious-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005 the NGO was established to help the poor, orphaned, and vulnerable children living in the poverty of their homes.

    Through participatory and sustainable programs The foundation helps children and families in need. These include child development programmes for childcare, strengthening family programmes, and InnerCity Mission for Children School.

    Trauma Care International Foundation

    The TraumaCare International Foundation was founded to improve the health and life expectancy for communities in the area. They also provide better emergency response services when there are accidents or emergencies. The foundation can accomplish this goal by assisting in the development of the national policies relating to trauma care and health education.

    More than 1000 courses in first aid, safety, and emergency management were conducted by the foundation. They are acknowledged for educating over 1,000 schoolchildren police officers, and teachers, as well as caregivers, teachers and road traffic officers.

    Volunteer Medical Corps

    The Volunteer Medical Corps, a christian medical outreach, is dedicated to providing aid materials, medical assistance and education to internally displaced persons and refugees in areas that have been affected by natural and man-made catastrophes.

    Bible For All Nation (BFAM)

    Bible For All Mission (BFAM), a christian organization, is dedicated in creating, producing and worldwide distribution of bibles for all ages.     BFAM has distributed hundreds of thousands of free copies of Rhapsody Bible in communities, prisons, hospitals and other institutions across the world and includes South Africa, Nigeria, Gambia and Ghana.
