Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a family of faith with loving, committed parents. Chris Oyakhilome Family He is the elder of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace on her son from an early age.

The whole family is actively involved with the LoveWorld ministry. His brother Reverend Ken, is the esteemed pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which is home to several top gospel artists in the world.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by CSO, has chosen to follow the footsteps of her father, sharing the Gospel of God the world. She is an accomplished, award-winning gospel singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Oyakhilome Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education in Edo College. After a grant was made to study the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) and he was awarded an BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was the campus where he felt God called him to become an ordained minister to the Lord.

The group would later grow to be the foundation of LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy, and eventually millions of followers across the globe.

Pastor Chris directed the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite TV and Christian production of television. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station from Africa across the world of the world, throughout the day, via free-to-air networks. In the present, LoveWorld television stations are available on satellite and cable networks across the globe.
