Pastor Chris: The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the elder of three sons who was born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Chris Oyakhilome Family Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace on her son from the age of a child.

The LoveWorld ministry is supported by the entire family. His brother Reverend Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several best-selling gospel musicians.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by the name of CSO she has chosen to follow in the footsteps of her father by sharing the gospel of God the world. She is a gifted gospel singer who has won awards and is an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education at Edo College. After a scholarship was awarded to pursue a degree in the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University), he was awarded an BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the campus where he was able to feel God calling him to be a minister for the Lord.

Apart from preaching the gospel message, the Man Of God has also set up a variety of non-profit organizations that provide essential services and hope to the most vulnerable and neglected people. COFI is supported by five partners, all of whom is committed to improving living standards in the most remote regions.

COFI manages the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations works to enhance the health, life and spirits of the most in need.

The charity also offers financial assistance to children who are poor. Pastor Chris believes in the development of strong communities by encouraging responsible governance and accountability in leadership.
