Oyakhilome Pastor Chris The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7, 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a faith-filled family with loving, dedicated parents. He is the elder of three sons born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace upon her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is comprised of all members of the family. Chris Oyakhilome Biography Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the revered pastor at Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church. He is also a part of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that has a host of gospel top-selling artists.

Pastor Chris has two children: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow in her father’s footsteps of sharing the gospel of God with the world and is also known as CSO, she is a talented, award-winning gospel singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome went to Edo College and was awarded an award from Bendel State University to study architecture. He also holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where the Lord called him to serve the Lord and become a minister.

Chris: A Pastor Chris: A Mentor

While still at university, the Man of God started what would later be the largest church worldwide. It began with the formation of a small prayer group called ‘Youth For Christ’. The group would later grow to be the foundation for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy, and eventually millions of followers worldwide.

LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel to broadcast 24 hours a day from Africa via free-to -air networks. Christ Embassy has a strong presence throughout Pastor Chris’s homeland of Nigeria. The ministry has two healing schools that are located in South Africa.

Music and Gospel Music are an important aspect of worship. Pastor Chris recommends Christ Embassy Churches that a choir be taught by Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these singing talent go on to enjoy great solo careers under the direction of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

The Future African Leaders Foundation, (FALF), is an organization that seeks to continue the inspiring work of Pastor Chris. Its mission is to acknowledge and support the extraordinary achievements of young, talented leaders. Pastor Chris is investing in the future of our youth so they can be the leaders of tomorrow.

Apart from preaching the Gospel message the Man Of God has also established a number of NGOs that provide vital services and hope to those who are the least vulnerable and neglected people. COFI is supported by five partners, each of whom is committed to improving living standards in the most remote areas.

His charitable organization also provides nutrition for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes that solid communities are supported by COFI and The InnerCity Mission. This helps to promote accountability leadership and good governance. It also supports sustainable development in Africa as well as other areas of vulnerability in the world, in accordance to the Sustainable Development Goals.
