Just wondering, did you use the changes in the recipe which called for more peanut butter and vanilla? I realized I was out of chocolate chips so I used 1 cup peanut butter, 1/2 sugar, the butter and vanilla per the recipe and powdered sugar- makes a great blonde version! If you love peanut butter, go for the version with more! A favorite, I’ve always added extra chips and PB so glad to see a ratio for those of us who are extra! If they do not feel/see this they will not be happy and secure and you just may be raising a dog who thinks he is alpha to humans. Your chocolate mixture may also be too hot. If you like peanut butter chocolate and sugar this is definately a treat for you. I did not use all the sugar though. BTW, if you use a 2 gallon freezer bag to put the cereal in, then the melted mixture, there’s not as much clean up.
